Like all good things in life, also the lustrum yea

Like all good things in life, also the lustrum year is slowly coming to an end 🌟
This year was a blast, nice activities were organized for all okto(plus)sers 🐙.
We started the year strong with a drink where the theme was announced, had a tournament with the golden oldies and finally a Glamorous Gala (spot 9 generations of chair in the 📸) ✨
We would like to thank everyone who has been involved with Oktopus over the years and hope to see you soon again 💙

Where most teams shoot their team pictures before the season, the gents 2 did so at the last match 💪🏽
Let's take this opportunity to look back at the season.🔙

The season-opening was tough, but every time the team sets foot on the field, big steps forwards were made 🙌🏽
As a team containing some players with little to no handball experience, we had a season of growth and towards the end of the season, we managed to be competitive more often. 🤾🏼‍♂️
Sometimes it was hard to find enough players to form a selection, but luckily the gents 1 was nice enough to help out and the ones present always gave 100%. 🏆
Our stamina surely got tested in matches without subs. The team will keep improving, and with fresh members on the horizon, we have all the faith that next season is going to be a sweet one.✨🐙

🇳🇱 🤾‍♂️ National championship 🏆🎉

This week-end we participated in the GNSK, the dutch national student sport championship, in Delft!💥

We were part of the Team Eindhoven. Our selections were composed of Okkies and a few other students studying in Eindhoven. You probably spotted our nice sweaters made by @de_essf 💫

Both ladies and gents fought their way to the finals 🦾 ... but weren't able to take the trophy home eventually. 🥈🥈

Once again, we had a lot of fun on and off the pitch with all other teams!! 🎉

Congrats @torius.delft of team Delft and @hvdecirkeltijgers of team Groningen for the wins!
And thanks @gnsk_2022 for the organisation!
